Our small dedicated team focuses on securing fishing donations from both individuals and organizations, producing soft plastic baits, and ensuring that these baits, along with donated tackle, reach our veterans. We believe that fishing serves as an essential tool for veteran rehabilitation and provides vital mental health support as they work towards regaining stability.
How to Donate
We are proud to announce that we have received our 501(c)3 non-profit status from the Internal Revenue Service. Your fishing donations can make a significant impact on our programs, especially in providing mental health support and veteran rehabilitation. When you donate up to $50, you will receive a Worms for Warriors sticker as a thank you!
If you donate between $50 and $100, we will send you a Worms for Warriors neck and face gaiter as a token of our appreciation!
For donations ranging from $100 to $500, you will receive a Worms for Warriors logo'd cap as a thank you!
Lastly, if you contribute $500 or more, we will thank you with a custom Worms for Warriors hooded fishing shirt!
Our mission
Worms for Warriors
(Working On Rehabilitation and Mental Stability)
Worms for Warriors is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of United States military veterans by providing them with free access to fishing tackle, lures, and equipment. This allows them to safely and enjoyably participate in various fishing tournaments and activities held across the US regularly. The President of Worms for Warriors, Franklin Sullivan, began fishing at the age of six with a handline and bobber, and his passion for the sport has only grown over the years. Although he currently works as a corporate executive, Mr. Sullivan dedicates his spare time to creating a range of plastic baits, which he generously offers at his expense to fellow fishermen and organizations. His dream is that, through Worms for Warriors and with increased financial support through fishing donations, he can significantly expand this initiative and engage other companies in the fishing tackle industry to support our veterans. WORMS stands for Working On Rehabilitation and Mental Stability. Many veterans return from active duty facing physical and mental challenges, and we believe that fishing provides essential mental health support and rehabilitation for both the body and mind. By making this activity more affordable, we aim to grant many more veterans access to this valuable opportunity. Donated funds will be allocated to secure the necessary equipment, supplies, and labor to scale our lure-making activities, ensure that tackle reaches various organizations and participants of veteran tournaments, and effectively communicate the mission of Worms for Warriors to all potential contributors.
